Xaamp 1.7.3 using Windows 7 [HELP PLEASE]

Hello friends, I was watching the video tutorial for "Install A Torrents Tracker On Your PC - Video Tutorial".


My platform is Windows 7
Using Xaamp 1.7.3

Now I'm a little confused because I follow the video tutorial as followed
then when I go to Mozilla firefox

localhost/install - I got this error in my browser

Error! Direct initialization of folder is not allowed.

http://localhost/install/index.php end also try another source , there is a losts a source here, good luck

http://127.0.0.1

localhost dont work for me on W7 either. or you can use your local ip, if you are behind a router, you wil need to forward some ports to.

Yes I also tried http://127.0.0.1 with no luck

i had problems with xammp so i used EasyWAMP.

appserv also is simple to use.
