Which one do you prefere?

Among the open-scripts one, I have used both phpBB3 and SMF. phpBB3 always takes the lead. It has got more mods, themes etc. On the other hand, SMF doesn

HAh, no but srsly, i REALLY like IPB the most, but phpbb3 is also good, i mean its free! Something that nice is free! :)

Best is phpbb3 then comes others. But i hate vbulletin as every where now a days i get to same forum styles of vbulletin. Only colors are different. Its like buying a nokia mobile with lots of outer covers

i personally use SMF but i have used phpbb2 (have not used 3 but i imagine not much could have chanegd)

i also have used IPB (not owned it myslf)

is it worth buying a license for IPB or VB?

or should i try a nulled version?

I used phpBB 3 which is great for a free forum, lots of mods, huge number of themes available, its very good !

Now we use for this forum vBulletin, licensed-paid, and yes i think that if you can buy a vB license you should do it, it has great support, lots of mods and themes available for free !

So the conclusion is: if you don`t have money you can go with phpBB3, if you have money and you are dedicated to run a forum then buy a vB license!

P.S. You cand use phpBB3 then after your forum is growing you can take it to the next level and convert it to vB (this is how i did here)
