I don't think there is any major breakthrough with the v5, it's just more heavier with tons of bugs

I know that xam working on making profile pages like IPB as little myspace pages but heh what's the use anyways

My personal belief is that we should just stick with 4.3 and making a cleaner working code and maybe improve forums functions or even better get rid of ts_forums and pop in a bridge for most famous forums and CMS :D

... agreed ... have done precisely this by hacking mrdecoder's TS SE 5.1 and slowly getting rid of the 'crap' and associated bugs ...

next step is to rip-out TS_forums and replace with mybb ... then this should be ready for live tests ...

... it should also be a good platform for any 'tweeks' ...

.. its good fun to see the 'stupid' code of 5.1 ... there are lots of bugs in functions which are not being put to 100% use ...

... been using a PHP script analyzer ... and WOW you can see lots of stupid stuff that does not need to be there ..
