Default Move users and torrents
Hi...
I'm no coder at all, I'm just founder and paying all bills for the tracker.

My coder is telling me there probably will be a small problem getting my 6k users and 4k torrents from the old db into the new we're making now.
The source used today is 'special made' by a 'devoted' coder and we need something better. The 'devoted' coder is not letting anyone into his source.

We did download the folder 'mysql' incl. folder 'tracker' - hoping that is enough as a start.

Will there be any problems moving users/torrents?

First task is match all the columns up so you have same amount of columns in old table as your importing into U232; Next part to determine is if your time values are DATETIME or INT if they are DATETIME they need converted to INT; Users will more and likely have to use the recover.php script to get back in as passhash is totally different; Next torrents table needs matched per columns same again DATETIME needs to be INT if thats the case; Infohash may be a problem but its one that can be worked around no doubt if its an issue, i don't know its one you wont know until your committed but its no a major job if you set it up correctly;
