When i try to do that, and after that try to click on "admincp"
I get a page that tells me that i dont have access, and then i recieve a pm like this:

"User nimda - 192.168.1.100
Class 7
Current page: /staffpanel.php, Previous page: http://192.168.1.143/index.php, Action: /staffpanel.php
Member has been disabled and demoted by class check system."

What I've had to do with this script is...

Have a putty window open at the time you sign up on the new site.

Do not immediately try to log in.

After signup, restart memcache/memcached.

There are at least two ways to do this. Both require the user to be logged out, then update the users class and enable if needed.

Then update staff arrays in staff panel (not sure the name, but its a sysop function) or manually update the two staff files:

Code:
cache/staff_settings.php
cache/staff_settings2.php
You may need to flush the cache.
Then the user can log in.

Unless you changed things, there is no class 7, it's default is 6. There is no need to use the database to change ID's for your first account, once you finish setting it up, then you need to sign-up / create your first user account and that one is automatically promoted to sysop.
