Trying to Build a Tracker
Hi there.
I am trying to start a new torrent private tracker with ratio, Bonus Points, etc, because I like them a lot. But I am not an advanced web builder so I don't know which one should I use, I specially need to be abble to modify Bonus Points to make them as customized as we need, and it should be easy to maintain and free. I was thinking about BTITeam, XBT, xBtit, http://whatcd.github.io/Gazelle/. I love Gazelle aesthetics but I don't know... maybe it is not necessary and it could be more difficult than others... We have a IP.Board forum, but we are planning to add to the forum an access to the tracker, being the forum the Home as it is now. Any advice will be very welcome. Thanks :-) Last edited by Orro; 20th October 2013 at 01:54. Reason: Title changed |

True, but not sure what you mean by "all supported".To support would require the coders intervention would it not? And that only leaves a couple supported.

It also depends on your own level of coding skills.
And how comfortable you feel in making alterations to the source code. My advice would be to install something like appserv on your pc. Then install a few of the source codes here. Have a play around with them, and see which one you like the best. Taking into account things like. How much support is there for the source here, or in its own support forums. How does the site look and feel to use and code. The best way to learn - is by hands on experience. |
