if you have ssh details then
chmod -R 0777 /where/ever/your/torrents_folder_is/
and possibly
chown -R username:groupname /where/your/www/is/
If you are using filezilla then
Right click on your torrent directory and go down to
file permission then enter in numeric value 777 then tick
recurse into subdirectories and Ok.
Another possibility could be is that your torrent directory path might be incorrect.
