Encoding problem

When i use cyrilic letters in the torrent i have no problem in other pages,etc.

But when i use cyrilic on poll and forum shows like this:

check your database encoding

Change the datatype on the poll fields.

how to check database encoding?

through phpmyadmin

my question was... from were in phpmyadmin to change it

the poll bit maybe....

I found it ... but even when i change to any charset it still gets with strange sumbuls... i cannot find windows-1251

is it right what i am doing localhost/phpmyadmin>the table of torrent>polls>operations>Collation... from there im changing the encoding

is that right bc when i change to utf-8 or something else ... has same effect
