Well the error gives you a massive clue "requires the ionCube PHP Loader" you need to install ionCube!

P.S. free hosting is not suited for this tracker source

Read through all the posts, downloaded the code an the installer....Testing it all out, so far this is a winner!! Thanks for the installer, worked perfectly, and I used the wdw releases before so there was some confidence in it.
I have to say this is one of the best tsse releases. So far no errors at all and if you read all the way through these posts there are no surprises, happy to report that none of the errors reported showed up for me. Thanks again guys, great work!!:friend:

Yes every time i install it i have no errors at all with it and putting my own mods on no errors at all good jod well done

Seems to be a pretty common problem for any code, a line of thought leans towards servers issues. but these 2 fixes may get you going.

Thanks m8 but iv dont the http 500 thing (change cache/ blah) and also tried your announce, same thing i hit upload and get http 500 ur right it probably is sumthing with the setup as i installed xxamp specially to look at this code and iv probably missed sumthing somehwere in the inbstall / config of xxamp not sure, .. was wortha shot, the code/site does look great !

If you want to make this work with no troubles the easiest fix is to grab the lateam release and copy the announce.php, bencode.php, and the takeupload.php. Check your magic quotes settings on your server, should be off.
I have used this release, have it running on a couple sites now. So I know it does work with the fixes described.
might also look at the downloaded .torrent file with becoder and make sure it all is right. As far as running this on a localhost, you can only go so far before you need to put it on a server and let it run there. Will act really different live. But the fixes are right.
All of these problems have been addressed in these forums for not only this release but for all tsse releases might search through and see that the fixes are pretty much what I have suggested.
There is a reason why this code has almost 40,000 hits on here, it works!

before you get some help have you actually tested the things mentioned yourself?
what specs are your host is it server vps or cheap web hosting?
or have you come here for someone to setup your tracker for you?

becouse if you havent then i would and if you dont know how to do this id get a coder to sort it out especially if your in it for the long haul

This again? This is only covered like a dozen times through out these forums...the takeupload, bencode files need to be replaced, the reference to magicquotes is wrong and will generate errors or fail the upload. Easiest fix on here is simply to download lateams version copy the takeupload.php and the bencode.php into your files replacing the old ones.
