[HELP] Change /announce.php to /announce

Hi i have a question, it may sounds stupid but how can i change the tracker announce url from:

http:/mywebsite.com/tracker/announce.php

to

http:/mywebsite.com/tracker/announce

without the .php, like the thepiratebay tracker.

you have to be running xbtt backend then enable it in xbtit tracker settings and change announce url

no you don't.

You can do this with .htaccess will find the code and update this post later

I'm not completely sure about lighthttpd, but adding this to lighthttpd.conf and renaming the file should do the trick. ;)
