u-232-v4 No Data sended?
 

Hi all

I administer a site running under ocelot for quite some time, but I want to migrate to your cms :)

1) everything is installed but I have an little problem, I have no network traffic my setup :
XBT_port: 2095
listen_port_default (in server.cpp): fixed to my cloudflare_port (2095)
Seed / Peer : visible OK //1Seeds/4Leech but no transfer !? (with and whithout VPN) :wallbash:

2) to the url announcement , I have added to the system and that http://mydomain.com and "https/mtdomain.com" for url https in SSL , which is the right size , with or without the " announce.php " ?

3) ocelot and in my config file to a place I have added the ip of my server? is it the same in your configuration, if so, to what place I place the server IP ? [EDIT]===> listen_ipa * in xbt/Tracker/xbt_conf* i think, ok i try
and when i download an torrent, the url_announce isn't on the port: 2095 but 2710??

//I think that i must to install xbt and after make install (cms,import,delete_install) ! no ?

4) How do I transfer torrent gazelle to this u -232 ? have you any advice? Thank you in advance for your reply and help.

hmm..
you need to change a lot site/xbt.. then compile xbt with the new settings.
port is 2710, but again if you want to change that need to save settings in xbt and re-compile.

thx! but xbt is compiled and re-compiled with my params and i don't understand my problem !? if in my client torrent i change 2095 by 2710 doesn't work, also, where is my problem, if i download an torrent, the announce is on 2710. I'll try an new compilation...why not ^^ question: config.cpp must be modified? Thx :)

need also to edit the site's config.. doh! by default it has 2710 port for announce.:coffee:

xbt will not work in https without major rework of it..
besure you read the readme @ https://github.com/Bigjoos/U-232-V4
you have to use an only 1 revision and the correct files that are included with u232 v4 source.
Enter the following commands in a terminal. Be patient while g++ is running, it'll take a few minutes. Replace server.h and server.cpp and add xbt_tracker.conf from the U-232 V4 XBT folder then run ./make.sh
remember to add your mysql connect details to xbt_tracker.conf
I never tried changing the port but DND is right its 2710 i would try that port 1st after you change it in cloudflare, iptables then once works worry about changing it to something else..

announce.php is only used for php tracker ONLY

xbt announce url is http://mydomain.com:2710/announce
once you get xbt setup right you should just goto http://mydomain.com/install
and install it :)
but again the readme said that if anyone bothered to read anything anytime lol

You prob would get more u232 direct help via visiting its forum http://forum-u-232.servebeer.com/index.php but again takes reading too..

if you did a good install you should have in the include folder config.xbt.

its waste of time you cant send traffic via cloudflare for xbt even after changing port , cloudflare webapplication firewall blocks, just disable and seee it will work

it can work if you set cloudflare properly.

then why dont tell what is correct corret settings :muscle: we will learn some thing new

do you think i know it by hand? but i could if i would take a look at the cloudflare settings panel. i dropped cloudflare since they will give your details to any law enforcement company. :)

you should have a basic knowledge , when any Authorities ask for info any Hosting or any CDN company like cloudflare will disclose IP and details to for law enforcement, you just need to know how hide.

here question is how to bypass traffic via cloudflare , and runing tracker is not illegal or using nor runing it via cloudflare or creating account under cloudflare

but hey, that's why it's kinda expensive to use their services :P

I'm using gazelle, CloudFlare is configured correctly, my trafic by Ocelot is OK.

big thing to also remember cloudflare is nothing but 1 big reverse proxys. So you have to add the addon to show real ips in the server logs and also helps show realip on the site.

it could help with tracker being so called offline cause prob you trying to contact cloudflare ips and not your site :( and if you do that tooo many announces like say using an bot to upload cloudflare could say you ddosing them..

BTW i been using CF for years lol unless you running some public tracker like an piratebay clone you should be ok.. Just about any host will hand over info to law enforcement, there is some out there that will not but you pay an boat load more $ for them.

CF is more than reverse proxy , CF is reverse proxy with WAF web application firewall which stops bad traffic

here question is to bypass traffic in CF not to show real IP. and 2095 is cpanel port which allow only http traffic not xbt torrenting

hope some one find a way , but i feel we can bypass with SRV records but not tested xbt traffic
