Age verification in details.php and/or browse.php
 

Helloooo friend! (Hope someone gets this)
So what I'm looking for is a simple script that would pop out lightbox style window asking user if he's 18 years old. Need this in browse.php when they try to download torrent that's in category 32 (it's XXX category) and for details.php if they try to open torrent with category 32.

Script probably won't do much to underage computer geeks who like to fap cuz they don't have lives but still better than nothing and might stop few of them.

is this for a public or private site?

Private site. I had idea myself for this to just calculate users age from their profiles but since it's optional to put age there then it won't work.

i think it is a useless script.
for XXX everyone will choose that they are over 18 :D
so u can't be sure who is over and who isn't

Well, I said it won't make much difference but atleast it will make it look like there is some kind of control. I don't need it to stop everyone from downloading XXX - if they want they can do that but atleast this script would show that me and everyone else in administration do care about our users and that we don't want them to just download everything. It's hard to explain in English when you don't talk in this language every day.:D

and it will add another query to the db, and for a site with at least 10.000 users it is kinda stressing on the server

We don't have 10.000 users.:D

Anyway - I got verification script and I just need that lightbox type thingy. Anyone has it?
