how many of you know smf ? when i installed a new theme on my smf forum it does not shows the button :sad:

you change theme in your profile :)

im admin but when i change the theme it does not shows the button :(

to set the theme as overhaul default you use

admin/

configuration/themes and layout/manage and install/

now set the default theme for everyone you want as default Overall forum default:

to set the theme in your profile

profile/

modify profile/look and layout/

Current Theme: ( change )choose the theme in that page use [ preview theme ] theme option first if you like it choose [ use this theme ]

still not showing buttons the theme may be fucked

which buttons for admin etc ?

all buttons like admin home etc does not show when i install new theme and as admin i do not need to change theme in profile and i always set overall theme as you explained so my bed would be they smoked to much weed does who made the themes :lol:

probably right m8 too much green lol

attach the theme archive here i will have a look for you oh and which smf 1x or 2x ?

its only some themes that apparentley works i have the newest smf version but you can try and register :)

Bump: the one i installed now works but need some color adjustment i think maybe a bit to dark ?

yeah if its smf 1x theme on smf 2x some things dont work until you modify the code in places if you found one you like attach it here i will mod it for use with smf 2x :)

just have to nip out for a couple of hours thugh so will grab any when i get back

it's okay and thanks for you help i guess i was looking in the wrong theme section hehe :p but i just see if i can find a theme first that is usable for me thanks m8 :drink:

Bump: You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable

im not sure what do here and what folders to chmod its been a while since i last played with sms :sad:

Inside your 'Packages' directory create a folder called 'temp' with permissions 777. This will then allow you to install your packages as normal :)

thanks mate now i just need to figure out how to show the mod i installed lol its fuck long time i played with smf :P
