Btitracker Problem

Well, i chmodded everything which was necesarry and when i upload a torrent and i want to download it when i want to seed it it just shows me a page which says error 403. Hmm. Maybe you can help me?

Phogo 23rd January 2010 15:21

Where do you get the error? In the client or on your site?

wMan 23rd January 2010 15:21

what script u are using post ur page link if u are not shure

Jack747 23rd January 2010 15:22

I get the error on my site. Actually when i click on the link to download the torrent it goes to this site: http://ifastnet.com/notify/2.php

I use Btitracker 1.4.8.

wMan 23rd January 2010 15:23

what hosting u are using ? because there is some with some kind of blockers

Phogo 23rd January 2010 15:24

Well you have a bigger problem than i thought! haha, why the hell does it redirect.

I get the message from my anti phishing software, that this site had been banned in my defence plan. not good. I suggest checking your server/scripts for malicious code.

Jack747 23rd January 2010 15:26

Ok, ill try to use a different hosting.

wMan 23rd January 2010 15:27

and btw don't use free hosting and by choseing hosting look for one who aloves trackers (ofshore)

Jack747 23rd January 2010 15:31

Well, right now i cant get a paid hosting, and i know a guy who has a tracker and it runs very good on a free hosting, so I dont think thats the problem..

Phogo 23rd January 2010 15:32

Well it won't run as well as it would on paid or last as long.

Bump: If you can't afford paid hosting then why do you want to start a site? Why not look for other people to share the burden?

joeroberts 23rd January 2010 15:36

Dont look for the site to pay for its self because chances are it well not

Jack747 23rd January 2010 15:36

I know, but i just want to test it before i invest money in something.

joeroberts 23rd January 2010 15:40

then you should use local host (your own pc) to test as you can do allot more there then with
free hosting as they disallow so Much and then you don't have unwanted ads to contend with.

Jack747 23rd January 2010 16:04

Well, im going to try free hosting with cPanel and see if it works there. Thanks for all the support.

Hi, I changed the hosting and the source code to FTS and now it works perfectly!!
