install everything seperately and only install what you NEED .. LAMP/WAMP stacks are useless in a production environment
install everything sepeartly then spend the time to go through the config files and comment out unneeded addons. for example if you not using GD library then disable the module.. if your not using mod rewirte .. disable the module and so on .. using a little brain power and google its simple enough
