If you want a source that supports dual memberships with IPB 3.x.x then you need xbtit 2.3.0 (SVN) or some derivative of it.
If you can't install hacks then there's always DiemThuy's version (XBTIT DT FM) posted about
here. I believe it comes with well over 100 hacks pre-installed.
