Some kind of style problem

Okay, so I just finished installing TSSE v5.4.1 included in the sticky thread. The installation process was surprisingly easy (very similar to that of TBSource), but I can't get any themes to work on the tracker. It looks like a super-old page with no design on it, but the only thing I can see (with a style) is the Admin CP. Any ideas?

Yes, that's what I'm trying to say. When I browse the main page, nothing is shown. It's all plain old text. I don't know how to find the theme, or where it is. The only thing that actually has a theme on it is the Staff CP. Thanks for your response. :)

do you have "hotlink protection" on server or htaccess?
also are you running xampp on Debian based system such as ubuntu, knoppix..etc ?
are you sure you upped the files properly?

Believe me it's your side of a problem make sure you got things setup properly on your server and uploaded files properly

Understood. Well, I'm using the CentOS 5.3 OS, so maybe that's the reason why my tracker isn't working.....

well if you're running your own Apache2 with mysql,...etc you should be fine but if you're using xampp well there are issues you need to solve first

just look into why your images not showing try to test it out

or when you installed tracker you put up / where they shouldn't be

Alright. I'm looking into the images problem. I know that I install the tracker correctly, as everything should go into a folder called "httpdocs."

Ashur 26th September 2009 06:00

common places /www/ folder or /public_html/

looking at my friend's server which not sure what's running but has plesk panel
/httpdocs/ is where things are :) so I bet that's a safe spot

to test out the image issue try to load the picture directly like put up some random pic to main directory which is /httpdocs/ for you if that goes right put still no go from the TSSE script then check out if you put proper permission on directories

be sure to have GD, cURL, Zend, at least php5 (php4 doesn't really cut it because you will have issues), mysql4+ ( i use mysql5) and maybe ionCube loader ( i forgot if that was necessary for this version)

MUST have php safe mode off, mod_rewrite on and i hope that's it
it's midnight I'm getting sleepy so i probably forgot something :P anyways good nite and good luck
