About IPBTracker 3.1
  • This release requires at least IP.Board 3.1.3
  • If you have renamed the /admin directory, you must upload the files from /upload/admin to the renamed directory, failing to do so will result in the files being uploaded to the wrong folder!
  • There is currently no upgrade path from 2.0.
Can I use it on my live site?

Yes, this version is deemed as a stable version.

What do I do if I find a bug?

Please report all bugs to the bug tracker. All reports made will be investigate and resolved accordingly. Please try and give as much detail as possible when making a report. Browser versions and operating system versions are especially relevant when reporting skin/interface bugs.

Bugs fixed

Installing IPBTracker 3.1

To install IPBTracker, please download the attached release. When downloaded, extract all files from the archive, and upload everything from the /upload folder into your forums root directory. Once this is done, visit your Admin Control Panel -> Manage Applications, and install IPBTracker!
Now that IPBTracker is installed, you can configure everything from your IP.Board Admin CP by going to the My Apps tab!

I am just going to try this on 3.4.6, I will report back soon:relax:

EDIT: No many errors on install....

EDIT2: I have it installed on 3.1.4 but have no idea how to make it work or what to fill in for the options?

It was a nice free mod. I've tried that back then on IPB 3.1. It works like a charm. It did even work on 3.2.x when I've tested it. The installer does all the magic. It feels so integrated with the forum . I've seen some torrent sites use an old version of that tracker on IPB 2.0. Too bad it was abandoned.

Bump: maybe i must modify this file?

DND 26th October 2014 21:17

of course you need to modify the anounce urls to match your domain/ip
but i don't believe that is the issue here.

mirko2012 26th October 2014 21:20

How?

firefly007 16th November 2014 01:01

Have you looked around in IPB admin/control panel, more then lightly be under some kind of plugin section and that is where you add the paths for the announce.
