you need to set them to 777 for the setup folder because more then likely they are at 000 rite now.

Okay got it set up but now I still get that error i first showed you. here is my usercp file.

The community here seems great and I will donate to you as soon as I get this up and running with lesser kinks, lol.

Thanks so much my friend. also i cant seem to get the forum linked or even installed. i keep getting a 500 internal server error. i set all of my permissions in the /www folder to 777. also my host is processing my domain or something they said. would any of that make a diffference?
